General Overview
The Mechanical Product Manager will be focused on leading the Revit development team to create Revit MEP automation tools and features for Mechanical contractors. Our aim is to increase efficiencies and accuracy for the creation of constructible models. The Mechanical Product Manager will use their trade knowledge as well as working with customers to understand feature requirements and define development scope.
Roles & Responsibilities
- The Mechanical Product Manager will be focused on learning and being able to demonstrate current functionality of EVOLVE Mechanical. Then combining that knowledge with existing trade knowledge for development scope (specifications).
- Candidate will need to work to understand customer needs and translate those needs into development scopes for enhancements and new features.
- Approximately 50% of time will be spent on specification development
- 20% product testing
- 20% communicating with developers and other stakeholders
- 10% help content development
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years Revit experience/formal training
- 1-3 years of electrical and/or mechanical/plumbing detailing/modeling /coordination
- Familiar with Revit families (.rfa) and/or mechanical .ITM database
- Familiar with MEP coordination process & drawings
- Familiar with producing prefabrication & field drawings
